
Owned and operated by the world-renowned Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Civic Opera House is a hybrid of Art Nouveau and Art Deco designs and considered to be one of the world's most beautiful venues. Built in 1929 and fully restored, the Civic Opera House is majestic with excellent sight lines and premium acoustics.
With 3,560 seats and the largest stage located in the heart of downtown Chicago, the Civic Opera House easily accommodates national touring dance companies, theatrical productions and commencements. The Civic Opera House has also hosted an array of musical artists including Seal, Natalie Cole, David Byrne and Andrew Bird.
